Dear Admins,
I am really surprised that you are pausing today when 1 Million KPs and other minorities are already refugees. Ignoring them from this event and inviting neo Islamic converts like INder Salim is enough indication to us that this event is nothing by seditious sponsored one.
I am really shocked that not a single attempt was made by MAraa to represt artist from Refugee community of Kashmir.
We are left with no option but to register a silent protest over this internet.
I respect and have great regards for your artistic freedom but as long as Art sells rather than Artist.
Regards ,
Veer Ji Wangoo
Good sense prevailed and this mis-leading program was cancelled. Art should be sold.. not artists!!!
it is pleasure for us being an artist from jammu & kashmir that your esteem foundation have took that initiative and gave the platform to the artist from kashmir to represent the pause in kashmir
respected if your esteem organization have a zeal to think on the “long pause” in the adjacent area of kashmir which have there own individual art and cultural heritage of millions years for example Ladakh, Poonch and Jammu too. only than we can batter understand the realities and reasons of “long pause” without using the popular issues without allowing the popular figure those who are popular for nothing.
iam not regionalist at all in that particular.. my personal view, with experiences and many references, i can say that there is no pause at all in kashmir there is the high pitch sound of harsh mixture of extremism, militancy, fanaticism ,regionalism
but yes there is the pause for artist, creative thinker there is the pause of humanism..we should discuss the reason of pause with them not with misanthropist.
ihave a lot thing to discuss on it………..
