Stories on a wall

Students of ITI ( a vocational training center) are working with visual artists to collectively create a mural on the campus wall. The focus is to transform the space of the industrial and production oriented campus that is readying students for the job market. Through the intervention of arts, it can become a site of creativity and expression, sensitive to the dreams and aspirations of the students. The idea of ‘commuting’ is a conceptual hook, as these students travel to their colleges from various parts of Karnataka.  The mural will act as a representation of the campus, the aspirations that the students ascribe to the city and the dreams that they hope to achieve.
